Melania Trump and husband Donald wear matching looks for final White House Christmas photo
The photo, taken on December 10, shows the US President Donald Trump, 74, and First Lady Melania Trump, 50, standing on the Grand staircase of the White House. The couple, who married in 2005, chose matching tuxedos for the snap.
The First Lady styled her highlighted golden hair in a sleek down ‘do, having parted her hair at one side of her face.
Meanwhile, Donald, donned a more traditional take on the tuxedo.
He sported wide leg black trousers and matching jacket.
Unlike Melania, the President wore a black bow tie and flat black shoes.
In the caption of the tweet, the couple expressed festive wishes.
“Merry Christmas from President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump,” it read.
The couple stood close beside one another as they beamed at the camera.
The official Christmas portrait was very festive indeed, largely down to two garlands draped on the staircase and over the archway they were standing beneath.
Melania, who is often admired for her style, wore a reserved wintery look.
She opted for a blue Ralph Lauren Pea Coat which had a v-neckline and was held closed by four buttons.
The First Lady donned an ivory roll neck jumper underneath, which also appeared to be from Ralph Lauren, costing £99.
She teamed it with a pair of cream cigarette trousers, as well as tartan high heel shoes.
While the stilettos are no longer up for sale, similar shoes from the designer can be bought for up to £795.
